So what Im thinking is that maybe this Ophie has blown at 99% and needs to trapse off. I'll take ssome of her wind. Today a rough one. Bad cough spouts, sore, sore, sore. Teaching the kiddos and the Princ comes in concerned about my "allergies" this season. It'll pass I tell him. Achhhh. Hate fibbing (lying sounds harsh), but I kinda must at this point in time and work. We will see. Hopefully this will not exacerbate. Maybe a quick clog and spitter. Last bad run was in the heat and humidity of a southern July/August. Not on O2 yet so no need to baby and complain. Lucky come to think of it, considering you fine family in Ophelia's path. Hope you all fared and aired well. But come to think of it, Ophelia was the ravaged daughter caught between the two poles-southern dad, north pole Hamlet. Quite a storm that caused, lots of wind. Young lady caught between corruption and deceit. Lear did say, "Blow wind, blow", eh? But that was another. Phelia did go off on her way after causing a ruckus (a southern yankee term), and she lost her dad's power and fizzled out (went mad actually) and alls well that ended well (unless you're Hamlet). So PhePhe is gone and you who read are here safe and soundly breathing and for this I love you. Dang if I don't get sensitive with you all whenever I get a bit bad off. (did I really say dang). Sleep well, awaken better, and stay with us and our dogs and cats and hedgehogs. Yes, hedgehogs too!

storm inside and out
There was a piece in the papers yesterday saying Shakespeare did not like hedgehogs at all - he used the animal's name as a threat and an insult in his plays. Me, I loved it when I was working under my car once and a hedgehog walked past me at eye level.
Here in Cheshire UK we had an orange pollution sun for a while, abnormally warm sunny weather for a while, and then a bit of a blow; but we are protected by the Welsh mountains and didn't face the full force of Ophelia. Feel for the people of Wales, Scotland and Ireland who took the full brunt of the storm.
Wishing you well mellyme and hope you can continue your work.
Ophelia was an angry lass who wreaked havoc in places. We just had the darkness and orange sky on the South coast fortunately.
I hope everyone is safe. Xxxxxx
Hedgehogs, well mr melley, and how dear sir would one prepare said creatures in your neck of the woods?i am given to understand that you have no native hedgehogs in America, this courtesy of the wicky bible and that your pet hedgehogs are of African pygmy hedgehog descent,i have pictures in my mind of North Carolina ladies in their Chevrolets with darling lapdog pygmy hedgehogs on diamond encrusted leads wandering the ice cream parlours of Charlotte whilst lurking in the background red necked hunters with oversized weapons eagerly set their gun sights on said creatures and bag a few for the family cook pot where they are served in a grits and greens casserole covered in parmesan cheese.Hence the popularity of our darling native creatures.....................skis and non spikey lover scruffy x
And dear hernia expert, I truly welcome the news on how to protect my hedgey. Her name is Bubbles and I will attach a photo when I figure the process and when said hog of the hedge awakens. She (the rat with spikes) only roams between 10:30 pm (22:30) and 5:15 am (05:15), precisely, and I am usually in deep slumber with my lovely cpap machine sucking air with minimal waste and even less snore. Luckily the hounds ignore what only comes out when they sleep. The hogs have no enticing or aggressive scent whatsoever, thus Bubbles resided a full month in our livingroom next to Boomer's bed before he realized there was a non-dog around his mat. Now when awake at night to liquify my carpet, he stares at dear Bubbles roaming in circles, however it is unclear to his one eye and confuses him until he barks himself to sleep.
Scruff would be sickened at this smell less beast and would truly spit and hiss and then seek some good sliced turkey to indulge in, thus tossing the bad dreams away.
