Cleaning INSIDE the prongs on a nasal cannula

After searching high and low and also getting some good suggestions from other members which sadly did not work I have at last found a solution to cleaning my nasal cannula INSIDE the prongs. I have rhinitis so a very runny nose which leaves muck inside the prongs. PIPE CLEANERS! Fit perfectly.

What? Everyday? Bit much. Better to clean it I think

Regular basis. Unless it gets terribly mucky daily. Your oxygen supplier should keep you well in stock. And you need to be careful with what you stick in your cannula. I've never been told to "clean" a cannula before. In fact they told me to change it at least once a week. But glad it works for you.

I don't bother as the plastic tubing stiffens up and they won't stay on my ears. Also lazy
