Good Morning Mickyjoan4, I care for my husband who has severe COPD. He does have slightly swollen feet where you can sometimes see sock marks but that is all. Although oddly he has started with a red rash on the top of his left foot! Other than that I wouldn't know. I am assuming if you are seeing your doctor that blood pressure etc. has been checked? Perhaps the helpline could help advise you - You can call the helpline on 03000 030 555 Lines are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Good Luck TAD xx
thank you Tadaw, I will do that. best wishes to you both xx
Hi Micky i get swollen feet/ankles my GP says its another side affect from steroids, i take water tablets and then get my exercise for the day going backwards and forwards to the loo! If you are not on steroids maybe another trip to your GP? Take care xx
hello Sheila, no i'm not on steroids but I will make appointment with doc, he's on holiday at moment so maybe next week. thank you x
mickyjoan4. Do you have any problems with your lungs? Sometimes with fairly severe, long standing COPD there can be ankle and leg swelling but it's usually in both ankles, not necessarily to the same extent in each.
