Right doing as I was told by Lyn and sending a note tonight as off to the hospital in the morning for a check on the new pipe work they put in when I had an aneurysm of the aorta a while ago. At the moment I have no idea what the weather is like outside at the moment as its dark its strange it gets like that at night, has anyone else noticed that.
Guess what... Yes this blonde rang 999 screaming "Help me my house is on fire"
The operator said "Calm down lady I need some information from you"
Again the blonde yelled "Help me my house is on fire".
Please calm down lady how do we get to your house, he asked.
The blonde replied "Dub .... In that big red fire engine of course."
Right I am off to bed after Vera has finished so keep the noise down when you all come up. Oh in case some of you are wondering who Vera is, she is a detective on telly. Speak on Tuesday, keep smiling.

Hi there folks I have returned after being poked and prodded and jelly belly scanned, and told right all pipes seem to be working well, I said that I would rather you told me that all the pipes are working as expected, which nearly raised a smile but not quite.
It was really hot in the city and it seemed that the rest of the world decided to go there shopping so that bit was cut short, and we drove to Kenton village and had lunch there then came home. So that's that side sorted for another year. Thank you all for the lovely wishes xx
Right a true Naval story. In the days when war ships used cannons, the cannon balls were stowed on wooden boards with holes in them just smaller than the cannon balls, these boards were called monkeys. On shore the same thing was done but they were stowed in brass holders, as brass does not rust but there was a problem being ashore they cannon balls were exposed to the weather conditions and when they froze the cannon balls decreased in size and fell through the holes in the holders, hence the saying, It was cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey. Now if you don't believe me look it up honest. xxxFred
Good news on the pipes Fred, I am pleased๐ could it really be true about freezing balls, I know they do shrink when they are freezing lol! ๐ hugs huff xxx
