Hi every one just to say I am on the mend and it seems that every thing is as the surgeon wanted, still rather tender but that's to be expected when they been messing around inside your body. I will be going back again in a couple of months to let him have a go on the left lung, its not a cure but it gives the tumours a headache. I will try and be with you most mornings but sometimes I feel a bit down but that will soon change so I hope you are all holding on with what ever and I am trying hard to smile so please do the same.
Just a quick one today as the actress said to the bishop (sorry forgot where I was)
I was out cutting the lawn, and my neighbour a really lovely young lady with fair hair ran out and checked her mail box, slammed the lid and went in. A short while later out she came again and checked the box slammed the lid and swore then ran in. After doing this again a few more times I stopped her and asked what was the matter was she expecting an important letter, she replied "My stupid computer keeps telling me You have mail.
Have a lovely day, its blowing a good one down here. XXXX Fred

Cheers my friend jimmy I would not want you worrying about me you have enough of that yourselves, I was having a holiday being waited on by lovely nurses, you would have enjoyed it jimmy, I asked for a bed bath but was refused that, did get my back wased for me when the dresses where changed and one gave me a wet shave when I joked about it to a one of the nurses, they really were a lovely lot in the cancer ward, and I said keep my bed I will be back in a couple of months. Keep happy pal Fred :0
Good morning Fred. Nice to have your cheery message back on here. I'm pleased for you that all is ok with your op'. I'm sure you'll continue to improve and be back with us "full time" soon. It's blowing here too, but the sun is shining, the daffs and tulips are shaking their pretty heads and all's well with the world (in this part of the world anyway!) The one drawback to all this sunshine.............it shows up every speck of dust! And how can my car be as dirty as that? I only cleaned it last year! LOL Take care. XX
