Little bit scared..

I have been waiting nearly 6 weeks for the results of my Bronchoscopy, on the 6th nov. at 2pm I will have a video link up with the specialist and get the results...I have no family near me they are all in different states and one is in the US, so you can understand perhaps how I`m feeling. I was diagnosed with copd about four years ago. I think I gave you my history on my first post so I wont repeat it all, although I did`nt say then that I had been thru Breast cancer, had double mastectomy and round the same time had lots of infections. Feeling well now so am hoping for a bit of good news, but bit worried at the same time. Thanks for reading my post. Take care all. xx roo-roo

Hi roo-roo - I can quite understand your apprehension. Easy to say ' don't worry' but a lot harder to actually achieve. I hope your results are all you could wish for and that you continue to feel well for a very long time to come.

Hope everything goes ok for you I have copd and bronchiectasis and a few other health problems I keep getting infections when I get flare ups at the mo I am ok where you from I am in the uk England in a town called nelson I also live on my own so when I get a flare ups you panic abit my mother lives 1 1/2 miles away I have never been taken into hospital for it so that's a plus I take for it spiriva or the other name tiotropium and budesonide the other name for it is symbicort and salamol my doctor is quite good he likes to put me on very good medications he rather put me on one good one than two crap ones any way that's enough for now I will say once again good look on your test hope it's good news take care from uk England xx

Hi... .that's sounds a long long time to wait for results.

A friend once said to me that the longer you wait the less likely of a nasty result.

You been through a pretty rough time of it by sounds of it hun, so its no wonder your scared and worried, sorry you seem not to have any support around you, but you've got friends here who will support you, tru not to think about your results too much, keep your mind busy on other things as much as you can until they come through,try to be as positive as possible, I hope everything goes well for you. thank you all so much for your best wishes, as I sit here writing my thanks the tears are falling down my face in gratitude to you all for your love and support, I feel with all of you behind me and with me I can and will get thru this.
