I`m having rough time at the moment, finding it hard to stay on top of things. I will appreciate any and all the support I can get at the moment. thanks for listening roo-roo
My battle with copd..: Hi everyone, I`m... - Lung Conditions C...
My battle with copd..
Hi welcome. You will meet lots of lovelies people on this site .Hope you feel better soon take care xx
Hi rooroo, welcome, I find it hard sometimes to keep on top of things so I have stopped worrying. I prioritize, who will imprison me, who will fine me, who will shout at me, who will say never mind there is always tomorrow. then what worries me. Sometimes I make the end but not always. Ask for help if it is weighing you down. I do and usually people help me. Anxiety, tiredness etc is all part of this burden. Take carexx
Hi rooroo belated birthday wishes. Sorry your having a hard time glad you've posted on here I've found everyone every supportive I can't offer much advice new to all of this but I can say this site is great. I seen in other posts something about PR but sure someone else will mention this. Take care xxx
Good Morning, I am so sorry to hear that you are having a bad time. There are lots of great people on this site who will support you and give you great advise. Perhaps a call to the BLF helpline might help - the nurses might be able to advise additional/different meds. that might help? Take good care, look after yourself TAD xx
thanks TAD, I will do all I can to help myself...x roo
Morning and welcome.
It's horrible when it gets you down and we all know the feeling so I'm glad you found. Everyone on here are great and I see you've been given great advice, come on and have a chat or get things off your chest there's always someone about to listen, we all know to well how lonely this illness makes you feel.

Hi Roo Roo
I am sorry that you are feeling overwhelmed at the moment. Just remember you are a human and not superman/woman!
Sometimes I just let things go by, the washing up can wait, i will vacumn tomorrow because at the end of the day some of the burdens we have are not really that important.
I can leave the jobs until later and go out and enjoy the outdoors - take a break - read a book or magazine because some things are not worth the worry.
I don't feel judged for what I haven't done - I relish the good things in life that make me happy and complete.
Just take one day at a time, step by step. You will get there.
I have put my bird feeders out this morning and I will make sure I make the time to watch for newcomers to my garden. It could be a long wait but one I will treasure.
Kindess always
oh sokrackers you are so so right

Know how you are feeling - so glad you found this site. It helps me tremendously! Don't worry about staying on top of things , although I do understand your frustration 'cos I suffer from it at times! - it really doesn't matter when it comes down to it. Not nice having a down day- wish I could help. All I can do is send you good wishes, a big welcome and a huge hug.
Hello, nice to meet you Roo. I hope today is better for you. I had a bad day yesterday, and an unheard of amount of tears last night, but I figured better out than in. Same as posting here, don't keep it all to yourself, its very stressful, glad you came here to share.
Big hug and welcome
thank you Tazzy2..
Hi roo-roo
I too have COPD with life long asthma, along with allergies and ex light/social smoker (smoker regardless how I try to lessen the impact). I have found out that I am practically allergic to the environment and nearly everything sets me off. I have been on steroids and antibiotics almost monthly since being diagnosed October 2013 where I was told I have 30% lung capacity, which they kept saying at the time was significant. I am guessing this is not good.
My list of medication can almost match that of a chemist. lol
Some days I am high as a kite as in feeling almost my 'normal' self and other days I can hardly walk up and downstairs the stairs without being breathless and have to stop.
Some days I feel 'old' at the age of 55, yet my mother who is 91 yrs today (8th Oct 2014), recently blind in one eye, a stroke victim, has late onset diabetes and angina appears more healthy than me.
We both laugh at this predicament as when I am staying with her, we can hardly help each other, but we have a right old laugh.
Roo-Roo, take each day as it comes. Some days you will feel as if there is nothing wrong with you and other days you are so lethargic to do even the basic household chores. When I am like that, I leave the house work, until I can.
Listen to your body, rest when you have to and have fun when you can.
Goodluck...Onwards and upwards xx
thanks EmAitch, I understand what you are saying and I do take things quiet when not well..I lost both breasts to cancer 2 year ago which does not help my anxiety and depression...it just seems to be one thing after another.....hard to stay on top!! roo-roo
