I take one and that's all. I think it is like your condition we are all different? Take one for a couple of weeks then try 2 if no difference back to one.

It is not cheap.

Don't take manukau honey with hot foods or drinks it destroys the benefits, hope this works for you,I've read recently about Scottish heather honey which is supposed to be as beneficial and cheaper good luck.ps don't expect it to work overnight.

Genuine manuka is a very good antibiotic, it is used to treat infections in hospitals for ulcers and skin complaints.

i am not sure about it working taken oral, for lung problems it can help when diluted and inhaled, it must however only be medical grade genuine manuka and you should never use anything without your doctors knowledge.

BE WARNED. only 1700 tons is produced a year but the market sales over 10,000 tons, the crooks are giving lots of you normal every day honey as manuka, there is a company in London run by New Zealanders who can advise you on the real deal, google for it genuine manuka london and read the information they give about false manuka, don't get conned. racey.

I get mine from Tesco - I have my groceries delivered at the moment as I haven't been too well. It cost £15.99 - Morrisons sell it as well. I read in one of the posts that someone takes the 15+ daily and the 20 during an infection. So far, I have only taken the 15+. Having read the other posts I am a bit worried about the authenticity of what I am buying. I will keep taking it though....good luck :)

Hi, I bought the honey 12+ from Holland & Barrett for £15.99 just last week. I take one teaspoon a hour before a meal as it states on the instructions. Hopefully it may stave off a chest infection. Will keep you posted.

Cheers.

A tablespoon? Cripes! I take a coffee spoon full 3 x daily - a bit like medicinal doses. A little & often. If I'm feeling really poorly I will increase it although right now I'm well so don't take it at all.

In my store cupboard I'll normally have 15+ for maintenance plus 20+ for when unwell. Get mine via Amazon, usually Nelson's if it's on offer. P
