I think I have been able to take it in my stride because of all you guys and your positivity on this forum, just a bit scared though. So thank you for keeping it real

Afternoon and welcome.
I'm so glad you feel supported. I was diagnosed with severe Emphysema 2011 at the moment I feel really well I was given Azithromycin in December because of constant infections. I've just finished my second PR and did really well and my nurses have said I could possibly reduce my oxygen. I know I'll be ill again but I've just got to take each day as it comes (And keep everything crossed).

I am very ill and a gold stage Emphysema,awaiting a lung reduction op.I also have severe asthma,Keep going hun,and keep fighting..Regards Laura

Aw thank you ..I have just come out of hospital as i swelled up like a balloon, Told them I had pain under this rib pain under that rib lol had ct scan and I have lump/cyst on kidney and gallstones to add to my ailments ..Whatever next plus the fluid is right sided heart failure..Thank goodness for Oramorph and Zomorph..Please keep strong there are wonderful ppl on here who are with you all the way..god bless Laura x

Hiya sweetie,its all been happening..I looked 9mths pregnant i went to docs n she threw me in hospital..i have gallstones and a weird lump has taken up residence in my kidney.I now have corpamanale right sided heart failure.Dont think I should be eating this cream cake lol,, My lappy poorly and in shop to be mended.I am using old one with on screen keyboard ..let me know how you have been in yourself..Hope your ok big hugs xxxxxxxxx

Hi I am a bit confused over your diagnosis! Emphysema comes under the umbrella of COPD along with Chronic Bronchitis. So i don't see how you can be moderate in one and severe in the other? Or am I just being thick? x
