Golf vicar !

Summer has arrived and the local parish priest is a very keen golfer , so come sunday morning , the weather is fine, calm , and sunny, so with this in mind , he rings up a local priest from another parish and asks him to cover his service as he,s not feeling very well, the other vicar readily agrees, so this leaves him free to pursue his favourite pastime, now all the while god & st, peter are looking down on the priest and st, peter says to god, we can not allow a man of the cloth to ignore his flock today of all days, god says to peter, just watch & observe, the priest has the entire course to himself this fine sunny morning, so off he goes & is thoroughly enjoying himself, by now st peter is foaming at the mouth,this cannot be allowed to continue, god calmly looks down and says wait & see,so in due course the priest arrives at the 13 th hole, it's a notorious one to this day no one has ever cleared it in under 4 shots, so the priest strikes to ball & low and behold he sinks it in one stroke, St. Peter says " why on earth did you let him do that " we can't let a man of the cloth get away with that, ! To which gods replies " who's he going to tell ?.
