I read this, redted, and can believe that it could be effective but none within easy reach. I am moving near the sea soon, and am told that the air can be so much better for you, possibly because of the salt. Wonder if this could happen?

I moved to seaside in Kent shortly after diagnosis. I could hardly breathe in east london where we lived and being here has made life not only possible but good. Not everyone has this option but if you do, I'd certainly recommend it. Hope the sea will be helpful for you pergola.

Can't comment on the salt cave but I have noticed that after spending d few days in the wonderful Blackpool air , my Peak-flow readings increase by around 45% from 350 to 510+.I put it down to the salt laden ozone.

Will be interested in the outcome should you decide to visit the caves. Cyril.

Hi redted have not been to the salt caves myself but know two people with severe emphysema who went to the one a street away from me in London.

The caves are apparently beautifully set up and very relaxing to be in. As for benefits, neither experienced any health benefits after the general euphoria had worn off. Also, although expensive, neither finished their individual block bookings. I think it's a case of to each his own and it might be worth going to see if you personally have anything to gain from it. Hi Sara,London is a little far from the Midlands, as others have also said it is down to each individual how the salt caves work.I read about it on Google so just wondered what it was all about.

Hi Redted, just been onto site and had a look. It sounds very good although didn't see a price, would have to look deeper into it. I thought I would even try it until I came back and read some of the comments on here lol. I have printed it out anyway and will have another look. Thanks for posting. Cheryl
