Has anyone found a perfume free laundry product that doesn't come from America?

These perfumed products make my asthma unbearable - so much so this week that I am back on a course of steroids - 8 per day for a week.

Very recently someone posted about products they'd discovered in Tesco . Sorry I can't remember who but hopefully someone else will remember and post the product name shortly. P

Dear peeg, I think they were Breathease cleaning sprays from tesco...they didn't have any in my local branch. My middle daughter has problems with washing powders or liquids that she used to wash her bedding....her eyes swell and eczema gets worse. Hope someone has some ideas.

ps Gardener & Knitter, I suppose you've tried the hypoallergenic ones from somewhere like M&S or Waitrose? I think I've seen some there.

hi peeg it was toci .... see below

Mizzymac recently posted information about cleaning products designed for use by people with asthma, and I picked some up at the supermarket (Tesco). Although I do not have asthma (emphysema) I bought a bathroom cleaner and a general cleaner and can report good things. The products clean efficiently and there is no odour at all. As most products have a detrimental effect on my breathing, these were great so I just thought I would pass it on.

Hi again. I have just checked the Allergy UK website...they have cleaning products but I don't know if they are perfume free. They have a helpline which I have rung in the past, they were helpful and may recommend something for you.

The site also showed some paints. Best of luck.

Soap nuts completely organic and natural, can throw on the compost after use:

soapnuts.co.uk/

Eco washing balls: ethicalsuperstore.com/produ...

Both products you can buy on ebay or amazon.

Completely non perfumed.

These are what I use mostly.
