Probably you are the same as us,with complaints about the rail system(apologies,if not the case!)
However, have to give credit where due!
My ex foster daughter, whom is now married with kiddies of her own,but still likes to keep in touch with my family, came for a visit. She is also quite heavily pregnant.
Well I took her to the railway station,to wave her off,& poor girl!she needed to go to the loo, even though going before we left home.
Well the toilets were locked,as the station was unmanned,& she was busting!
So I rang the emergency number on the platform.Got a nice fellow, whom I explained the predicament too,& he told me he would alert the guard on the train, which was due any minute. So the train comes in,the guard jumps out, unlocks the toilet,& when she finished, the train took off again! We were both so grateful!
I know this is nothing to do with lungs etc! But thought a good news item, may make some people start there day off well!
Happy breathing everyone,
Love Wendells xxx

Wendells, I am sure it is very acceptable to bring non lung posts in the forum. What about our wonderful humour. Whatever we talk about, we have one thing in common. Our bellows!!!

Ha Ha Annie,so true! Xxx
PS - I so sympathise with your daughter. When you have to go, you just have to. Dont give me a hold up on the M25
good for you Wendells - I'm wondering if you'd have rung if it had been you! We jump through hoops to help others but when it's us we're not so fast xxxx have a lovely day (when you wake up )
Txs Rick, there are some good people still left! xx
What a great story Wendells, I always think such kindness deserves a kindness in return, I expect an email to the rail station master thanking the kindness and understanding of said station employees who were on duty at said train times would give them a feeling of doing a very good job in helping a maiden in distress.
Thanks for sharing this Wendells. A bouquet of flowers for you:
Hi Wendells absolutely agree with you there .Ithink that due to the media we so easily get drawn in to the bad news society and forget whats good out there. Its so much easier to smile.Hope your keeping well down there in oz,must be beautiful at the mo.Janexx
Hi Jane, just for the record,a radio station tried having just good news on,it collapsed,as no one was interested, they wanted the other stories! Rather sad I thought!
Yes weather is wonderful, half way through spring& already in late 20cs.Apparently warmest spring on record, makes me a bit nervous about summer though! Love the heat, but not the humidity, find breathing a bit hard, when the humidity in the 90s!Cant have it all though! Have to have something to complain about, lol! Hope you're keeping ok. xxxx
Hi Wendells I think Ihave a memory about that yes your right. Some years ago Inew of somebody who climbed a church steeple protesting about glue products and youngsters sniffing it, was wanting one of the chemicals removed so would no longer harm.Their friend called the newspapers hoping to publisize, they would only attend if there was a chance he could kill himself, otherwise it wasnt in their opinion news worthy. its a funny old life.It was very hot andhumidity high this summer does knock you for six,the grass always greener haha .yes im super smashing thankyou .
