I have had two assessments for PR. The first one was to do with breathing, and the second one was a walking test which I managed quite well. I found the girls friendly and supportive.

The walking test is between two cones, with chairs at intervals, if you get breathless.

I am looking forward to the full "works" at the end of September.

How are you, George? Haven't heard for a while - love Annie x

It is as annieseed says George. Pulmonary Rehabilitation is certainly beneficial.

Nice to hear from you.

Annieseed is right.

I had my assessment all in one go. Some questions to answer, I was asked mine by both a specialist physiotherapist then seperately by an occupational therapist. They were most kind and genuine.

i didn't understand the walk business until I'd finished the 6 week course & had to do it again at the post assessment.

The 2 walks were compared and I'd very much improved. 540 metres at 1st walk, 750 at the second.

Great result. I found the whole 6 weeks really beneficial.

Good luck with yours. peeg
