I would say ask your respiratory nurse to demonstrate these techniques or ask your GP to refer you to a pulmonary rehabilitation course where these techniques are taught.

The main ones are: pursed lip breathing, diaphragmatic breathing and the counting breath, where the exhale is longer than the inhale. There are examples on you tube but to be sure you are doing it correctly the advice of a medical professional is probably the best choice.
