Hi Polly
My true love (husband) is in Jersey, as always at this time of year, and he will, as always, be bringing back with him a sack of Jersey Royals - lovely taste. Unfortunately, before we manage to eat them all they turn green. What can I do to keep them edible?
Hopefully, he will also be bringing back some pearls (earrings) and some crab meat (tinned).
Because I'm on my own at the moment I haven't cooked anything much and I am hungry.
Have a lovely Sunday and an even nicer Bank Holiday Monday.
Love and hugs
Annec

Homemade yorkies i hope ???
O fabulous! you're all making me hungry!
Going out today being treated by my kids - they must want something
Roast beef, yorkies, spring greens, roast spuds & parsnips. Home made apple pie and cream for dessert.
Roast chicken for us. Local chick called Lucy. Known her since she was an egg. Only the best for her and of course giblet gravy! Roll on 6:00.
Good job there's no K in her name then
Steak, corn on the cob, jerseys cooked in foil with garlic and olive oil. All done on the BBQ with a huge salad. Not until tonight though. Lunch is antipasti meats, olives and artichoke hearts with crusty bread and oil and balsamic for dipping.

I'll take the wine who's inviting me. To make sure I'll get an invite I'll take a strawberry cheesecake whipped cream and for those who would prefer how about a plain old jam and cream sponge cake. I bring up a coffee and walnut cake but I'd eat it all on the way.
I put a bay leaf in my dog bone, from the butchers box out side his shop, before boiling
.Just To add that bit of extra flavour.,it didn't taste too bad but I think I prefer it plane.
After all it was Sunday lunch.
