YEAH! Well done BLF - I bet you're not quite so thrilled though when you're moderating on Monday mornings!!!!!!!! Seriously though well done everyone.

Love cx

They pick straws - the one with the shortest, gets Mondays LOL :)

Well done, and congratulations. As a newbie, I've found the site to be informative, humorous, as well as a place to feel "at home" amongst people who understand. Thank you.

Hello BLF Comms Team

I love this site - it has been so helpful for me.

I'm still waiting for confirmation of my condition (but I did have lung cancer four years ago so think I qualify to belong on that count alone).

The members of this site have been really helpful and kind to me with their advice and have cheered me up with their humerous posts.

The best thing, for me, is that I don't feel so alone anymore - I feel that I am part of a group of people who are in the 'know' about lung diseases.

Thank you so much for starting this and congratulations on how well it is doing.

Great to hear and it hasn't taken long to reach that number. I am curious though. Has any of the BLF Team got lung problems or are carers ? The reason I ask is that if you haven't I appreciate the time and effort you put in for us. If that make any sense ! :)

With 1 in 5 in the UK affected by lung disease I have no doubt that many of us have one experience or another! Currently posting from the Comms Team is Vicky, Press & Campaigns Assistant - hello! My Grandpa had COPD and my granny had lung cancer and I had asthma when I was younger but luckily I don't need an inhaler anymore. It's definitely a fantastic charity to work for and I think you'll find many different motivations from different staff members. :)
