Hello everyone, has anyone switched to another inhaler when using Fostair because it didn't work or they didn't like it? Thanks in advance for your answers

Have any of you not liked the Fostair Inhaler and started using another inhaler?
Yes I was on Fostair for years then stopped working last year so got put on Fobumix inhaler which is much better and stronger, so far no issues.
Yes but it was more a case that it didn’t like me and caused side effects such as severe muscle cramps.
Tried a couple of others and then was put on Relvar Elipta which has been a game changer for me - no side effects and my asthma is far more stable and controlled now.
If your inhaler isnt working for you or you have side effects please see your asthma nurse or gp and ask to try another one. Be prepared to give them a chance to work (it can take 6-8 weeks for full effect) before changing again. It’s a case of trying until you find the one that suits you.
Yes i was on Fostair for about 6months and had to change it then i got luforbec and ime on an inhaler now just started it once a day non steroid so ime giving that a go
Yes I was taken off my usual beclametasone and salbumol (brown and blue) inhalers and tried fostair, but I felt quite unwell after a couple of weeks so requested to go back to my previous inhalers which was sorted.I didn't know that these inhalers were so different but as my consultant says everyone of us react differently to medication. I have also heard a lot of good outcomes from people using fostair and relvar ellipta.
Yes, I had been on fostair for a week or too last year but my asthma quickly went downhill.now on relvar ellipta and now much better. Hope you get sorted soon.
I have had horrendous problems with Fostair - first the powder, then aerosol. There's a long list of side effects on the leaflet and I experienced a lot of them. Trembling and shaking, palpitations, muscle cramps, oral thrush, sore throat, hoarseness and earache. They all continued despite the change to aerosol, Then the GP swapped me to Symbicort which turned out to be a little better, but not much. It became so hard to concentrate and couldn't even read my own handwriting with the shaking, let alone sleep. I have now chosen to stop altogether (I had to do the tax returns ) . Within 24-48 hours the side effects ceased, apart from the oral thrush. Luckily my asthma is mild but I'm not sure about the future. Back to the GP I suppose but at least now I can discuss it coherently.
I was prescribed Fostair for two puffs twice a day and symbicort, one twice a day.
