Hi, thanks for all the messages, very, very useful and interesting. Here's some back.
I have noticed that the Luforbec inhaler renders the 'harmonica' note on the spacer ineffective unless you have the suction of a Dyson. It allows an inordinate amount of air past the canister.
This was discovered with the assistance of my precision engineer husband I might add.
Therefore 'some' problems may be due to incorrect inhalation/ too much air/ inaccurate dose in addition to different ingredients.
I think this is an important message.

Absolutely, I think using an inhaler correctly is a bit of an art form, not doing so leaves ones asthma uncontrolled. I know to my cost, having used seretide with a spacer wrongly for three years 🙄It would help if everyone watched a 'know how' video for every inhaler they're prescribed
I've written on here before about the crappy Luforbec inhaler. My problem has been the opposite to yours in that quite often, one press gives more than one dose, making it impossible to inhale as it burns. I have to be very careful when I press it. I just think the whole thing is cheap and nasty.
Thank you. I did go back on it for a while, but the constant throat irritation it caused necessitating hours of throat clearing had me worried about permanent damage. So I went back on Luforbec and carefully manage it, though not always successfully.
