Changes in type of asthma

Good morning

A bit long winded l know but...

About 5 years l saw my respiratory consultant who put me on daily Predisolone to help with my asthma symptoms with view to putting me forward to have the xolair injection at this time my asthma was described as severe allergic asthma / brittle asthma, but at this time my markers didn't qualify me for the injection. Fast forward to January with yet another hospital admission they said they were putting me forward to have the biological injections as my markers had hit the criteria, that and decline in my asthma 😔. March brought yet another hospital admission and a date was put forward for June / July to go to panel to discuss my case for eligibility, l recieved a phone call in April to say it had already been approved and they would send me the information out and first injection booked. So when the information arrived l was surprised to see it was for Nucala (mepolizumab) not xolair as previously discussed, when l questioned this they said my markers had changed over time and now l was classed as having severe refractory eosinophilic asthma, hence the change in injections. So my question is has anyone else had this change in type of asthma and is common?
