Had the flu Vax last week followed by an extreme sore throat 24hours later and slight tightness in throat which went on to produce phlegm. Thought I was getting better then the cough started .. I'm now 11 days in and still using my inhaler to relieve tightness ..I am usually a well functioning asthmatic
Wondering if things have changed since my covid jabs or just bad luck with the flu vax

It could be normal vaccine side effects as all vaccines cause those - or it could be entirely coincidental as it's got colder and there are many many viruses affecting people at the moment - often more than they would have done previously because everyone has had reduced mixing over the last 19 months.
Thinking about it, flu vaccine reactions are in theory mild flu like symptoms - so it could well be that you actually have had a virus coinciding with your flu jab (as in it's nothing to do with the jab, just coincidence it happened at the same time).
Tightness isn't always asthma related - it can be anxiety or stress related for example, which concern over ongoing symptoms might cause.
Something similar happened to me but I think that I already had a virus and it just coincided with my flu jab. It took me two weeks to feel better and during that two weeks I had multiple asthma attacks. Viruses seem to be a major trigger for me and they always send me over with my asthma.
I agree with above replies, as it takes at least 2 weeks for protection from flu to kick in its either a bug you've picked up (many around this time of year + fluctuating temperatures) or effects the vaccination. I've only ever heard of after effects of the jab being a sore arm &/or flu like symptoms for a few days. Best to get checked by GP- if you can. P
So I flagged a Yellow Card and got a reply asking for the batch number of my Flu Vax and also both Covid Vaccinations .. I spoke to my GP as I felt worse and she thinks my Immune system over reacted
