I would have thought anything one puts into the mouth or throat could. It's very fine mist though and you can have a drink after using it.

Yes it's true. I did not think about it. I always only rinse the mouth.

I'm lazy and drink because it's easier. Probably not the official advice but whatever works I reckon!

This is also a good idea.🙂

I take spirvira and I have taken it for several years. I have yet to get any throat irritation from it. Do you gargle or rinse your mouth afterwards?

Yes, always have a drink to gargle and wash mouth out. I’ve been on this inhaler for over a year now and find my throat can get very irritated.

Hi there, I suggest you use a spacer. Once the spiriva is ready to use remove the cap, insert into a spacer and use. Replace the cap to turn for the next dose and repeat. Using a spacer in this way may help. It did for me. Good luck.

Hi there, I’ve been using Spiriva for about 6 months now and I got very hoarse voice and tickly throat. I now rinse and gargle salt water about 4 times after and I still have a bit of a husky voice but no irritation at all.

Not what you're looking for?
