Popping candy sound in throat

Hey everyone, I have a random question - I’m assuming it’s because of my asthma but does anyone ever get a weird popping candy sound in their throat? 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve noticed it on and off for a few months but no idea why or what’s going on.

Thanks! xx

Hi Kat1387

I think I know the sound that you mean! Sometimes I get this and I always put it down to a bit of PND.

I don’t really suffer much with this but occasionally when I wake up I have it but it is not wheezing it sounds as if it is in the back of my throat/nose?🤷‍♂️

However I don’t have any suggestions of how to prevent or treat.. I’m afraid. Mine seems to disappear as the day wears on and I get up and about.

I think as asthmatics our lungs seem to make all sorts of squeaking/burbling/popping sounds whenever they like!!!😜

Sorry I am not much help but just wanted to let you know that I have similar and have not really linked it to anything major with crashes in my asthma. 🤞 it’s the same for you?

Take care😊👍
