Hi my daughter is 14 , she had severe pneumonia plural effusion and empyema when she was 9 hospital stay of 6 weeks 2 x chest drains and a line in to her heart which has caused scaring on her lungs, she’s had pneumonia twice since then but caught early enough she also suffers from chest infections and the most recent was August last year when she had to go to hospital as she couldn’t breath properly and was put on a nebuliser and has been diagnosed with asthma and is on Soprobec 100 and salbutamol, should she be isolating away from us as I’ve not received a letter

Your GP will advise but if you go to Gov website it gives advice.

A person shielding can still live with others who don't need to but note there is guidance on the GOV.UK site which tells other members of the household what should do if someone in house is in 12 week shielding measures.
