I've been managing my asthma quite well, but this weeks sunshine has brought on the tree pollen, most likely birch pollen as we are surrounded by birch copses. I am allergic to both hazel and birch pollen, along with some other inhalants.
This morning my chest was tight and I was coughing and felt awful. Took my inhalers, antihistamine and put on the air filter and felt soo much better! Worried for a few minutes that I had the symptoms of coronaviurs then laughed at myself. Funny how I can be thankful that it is asthma and not something worse, and I have been self-isoalting because my husband is on the vulnerable people list.
Take care and yes, wash your hands and be safe.

I know what you mean as I suffer from hayfever as well & it's the start of grass cutting season for me as that's my main thing, it does worry me what with this virus as well plus I've got this cough which I've had for 2.5 yrs & when I have to cough in public, people give me the most horrible looks now when before they didn't
I have had to up my steroids a little because I have been quite breathless. Fortunately, it's seemed to help. I live off a wooded area but it's the grass pollen that gets me the most. I have to close all the windows when the counsel cuts the grass.
Hope you stay safe and well. x
Last year was my worse year, I seemed to suffer with each of the types from mid-April til end of June, this year I’m on 2 daily puffs of 100mg Clenil to try and help. Became paranoid a few week ago about getting the virus and suffering like last year so gave myself a good talking too, to calm down and get a preventer.
Yes it is easy for those thoughts lurking in our minds to jump to the forefront. Keeping the asthma under control is the best thing at this time. Being mindful to take all the precautions we can and then to know we have done all we can and enjoy each day. I am so thankful for all the good medical we receive and kind friends at this time.
