Prednisone side effects

Is it normal to experience tingling and mild numbness / cold extremities a few days after a 5 day course of prednisone? I often get it on day 4 as well. I’m on thyroxine too, should be well replaced there.

I’m also breastfeeding and my supply is very low which I’ve read can happen.

I think it depends on the person. I get shakey and anxious on pred. Might be worth talking to your Dr to see what else they could give you?

I’ get freezing feet when I’ve been on pred for a few days. I’ve asked my gp and they’ve told me it can be a side effect!

Ha! Interesting! Yep they’re still freezing. I’m feeling brighter in myself this afternoon. Tingling is fading too. I’m wondering if anything to do with water retention? I read loosing potassium can happen. I ate a couple of bananas to help!
