Hi all. I was diagnosed late October 2016 with Churg Strauss Syndrome. Extremely rare and it manifests as chronic sinus and asthma. It was being fairly well controlled with steroids and inhalers and Azathioprine but since last Xmas i have had 4 emergency admissions and am now currently being assesed and on the waiting list for the metazimub injection. Is anyone else on this ? Has it helped and have you had any side effects ??

Have you tried the Vasculitis Community? There are members on there with Churg Strauss Syndrome (which as you probably know is a type of Vasculitis.) You could also visit vasculitis.org.uk for more information about the disease.
Lovely photo by the way. XX
Thank you for your reply. I will have a look at 5he site. One of my better days. X
I was just going to mention vasculitis.org.uk and then noticed the post below. They are very helpful and have a 'phone line for questions. If you look at the route map on the site there is a lot of information on each different type of vasculitis. There are local support groups , too. It is good to know that you are not alone. There are a lot of us around leading normal lives , now,
Thank you. I have had a look but there does not appear to be anything about churg strauss
I have found a significant improvement in my eusonofilic asthma condition. My quality of life has also improved and I’m able to live an enjoyable life thanks to the mepo monthly injection. It took several months for the medication to kick in. Hope that helps. Best wishes.
