Hi all, Can anyone tell me when the ingredients of Persil "non bio" changed please? Had this horrendous itch /rash in places of contact on my back for about a month. Dug out some old clothes that most likely are pre the new formula, and it seems to be improving. Had a fungal infection linked to "CHEMO" last year, and the doctors just keep harking back to that, but it's different symptoms!

Many, many years ago my dad had a bad skin rash. My mum spoke to their GP about it who asked what soap powder she used, 'Persil' she replied. 'Change to a different product', the GP said, 'Persil is the cause of many skin problems'.
No offence to Persil intended but she changed to a different make (sorry can't remember what) and dad's skin problem cleared up. It may be that the product causes problems for some while others are fine as with many things.
Wow, that explains a lot. My son has suffered from Uticaria and we couldn't tell why. He is on anxiety tablets at the moment and the rash has greatly reduced. But I realised that we did use Persil but currently have Fairy. I wonder if that is why the rash has gone. I usually buy the best value non bio so I won't be buying Persil in the future! 🤔
Could be coincidence or not but glad your son's rash has gone. I just buy a supermarket non bio brand with as little perfume as possible to avoid SOB triggers.
How did your lung function tests go a couple of months ago?
Thanks. The test went fine. I gave another test this month, this time to do with sleep. Will see how that goes. Right now I am recovering from a chest infection. Could be worse I suppose. Hope you are well.
Nice to hear from you. I hope you are soon infection free. Apart from the cold weather playing havoc with my breathing (even though I have stayed indoors) I'm reasonably well, thanks.
I'd be interested to know more about your sleep test sometime, having had trouble sleeping for years.
