Symbicort
I sometimes feel like I have a lump in my throat which I can't seem to get rid, makes swallowing feel a bit comfortable, but apart from that and losing my voice if I have to take a lot in a short period of time, I don't seem to have any side effects.
I had throat/voice issues when my dose of symbicort was increased about nine years ago. I kept losing my voice. Eventually I was switched to a different type of inhaler and the problem went away.
Hi Peldypix
We do hear about throat issues especially because it’s a dry powder and can irritate after using your inhaler – hence gargle and spit out. Here's a video about inhaler technique that might help: youtube.com/watch?v=2_6DvPw...

I keep getting hoarse with Symbicort. I do rinse out afterwards.
Yes I think rinsing is essential.Today my allergy doctor told me to rinse with warm water and soda.
I use a spacer when I take symbicort it helps with the throat problem your having!!!
