I was diagnosed with asthma as a child, it was never really bad, I had a couple of attacks as a teenager but nothing major.
I'm 25 now and haven't had an inhaler or anything for over 10 years I thought my asthma had just gone away.
About a month ago a developed a cough, went to my GP when it didn't go away and he diagnosed it as a chest infection, was given antibiotics but it didn't go, and my symptoms got worse.
I went back to the GP last week, he did my stats and listened to my chest and sent straight for an ambulance as I was having an asthma attack.
A&E gave me a nebuliser which really helped, I was then put on a weeks course of steroids and given a blue inhaler.
I finished the steroids on Monday and I haven't got any better, went back to the GP today and saw a different doctor, she did my stats, my blood pressure was all over the place, my pulse was 130 and my peak flow was 220 and oxygen levels were 92.
She gave me another 3 days of steroids and a pink inhaler.
Right now I'm struggling, my pulse is racing, my chest is so tight and I have a constant wheeze.
I feel like a nuscence keep making appointments with the GP and I'm sure if I go to a&e they'll just tell me to go back to the doctor?
So I'm at a loss of what to do, do I just learn to deal with it?
