One day of antibiotics and 2 days of prednisone left and still wheezing and up coughing most of the night absolutely exhausted let's hope they kick in soon.... hope everyone is having a good day xxxx

Oh Lyngal, I'm so sorry you're having a tough time of it at the moment. Is this the result of an infection you've picked up?

Hi maggieHP my 2 major triggers are colds and viruses and just before and during my period. Had a cold a few weeks ago turned into infection steroids antibiotics fine for a week or so caught yet another cold Working in a primary school doesn't help turned into chest infection but this time I started my period after approximately 5 months ( going into the menopause) so it's a double whammy. I've got my asthma review on Friday so hopefully will get things sorted.

The one serious exacerbation that landed me in hospital was the result of an infection that I picked up whilst working in a primary school, so I understand completely where you are coming from there.

Keeping fingers crossed for you for Friday. Take it easy in the meantime won't you?

So sorry..

Yes you catch everything working with kids I know..you need to work on your immune system, have all the vaccinations.,

now this year in Switzerland they have given me Bronchovaxom, a pill the first 10 days nov, dec and jan, it is a type of vaccination by mouth. I had the flu vac and the pneumo vac..I am taking vitamin D and berocca at the moment I added the berocca as I felt weak and had all those pains, magnesium is supposed to be good for pains.

Just suggestions of course..
