Buteyko severe asthma is much better.

Completely surprised the improvement of my asthma after 5 weeks of shallow diaphragmatic breathing , twice daily meditation. I follow a protocol and get support via Skype. Worth checking into.

Me too! I’ve found that Buteyko can help me to keep calm and control my breathing when stressed and my asthmatic and bronchiectasis-blighted lungs feel like shutting down. I also sleep 100% better without sleep apnoea. Unfortunately it’s not instead of meds but an empowering self-help technique. Keep well. Ex

Thank you for the reminder to use Buteyko. When I get better I forget to use it. I also find that doing lymphatic drainage helps, prior to doing the Buteyko.

I have used my reliever very little which surprises me. Used to do 4 puffs a day.. I am on Pulmicort 100 twice a day. and will not get off that until have CP of at least 40 which will take a while.

Great. It takes a lot of motivation to stay focused and stick with it but it is a real gift for me.
