Cold like symptoms every morning

I have several chest related issues ie asthma bronchiectasis and every morning wake up blocked with cold like issues it tends to ease after been up a few hours is it central heating related does anyone else suffer from this please

Central heating can be a problem for people with lung problems as it dries the air. Have you tried leaving it off one day to see if your symptoms change? Do you get similar problems in summer?

This time of year is generally problematic for anyone with serious asthma. Working out what is a trigger can be a nightmare. You probably need to consider dust mites, cold air, central heating, damp, fungal spores & probably dozens of other things. You can try eliminating such things as you can to see if your symptoms change, eg. leave the heating off, open or close windows, humidifiers, clean mould spores off your bedroom window if you see any, hoover the mattress...the list goes on, but hopefully you will make soem progress.

Hi I wash my nose twice a day with a sea water spray, it's costly but it sorts out my chronic rhinitis. Central heating doesn't help for sure. You need to humidify your nose.
