Typical 10 weeks after I was last ill and having a flare up! I’ve now come down with a cold/ virus- lost my voice, sore throat, tiredness and blocked nose!

I just don’t want it ending up on my chest! Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to avoid it going on my chest?

Hi Lotti 321 I'm feeling the same since yesterday although havnt lost my voice yet..im dreading it going down on my chest.. I remember my husband always believed in hot red lemonade for a flu and colds.. We'll i was feeling all bunged up last night so I decided to give it a go.. This morning my nose is cleared its running like a tap but better than being clogged up..you just bring a cup of red lemonade to the boil and drink it as hot as you can.. Worth a try..

Is it part of your asthma action plan to increase your preventer in this situation? If so do it promptly.

Hi Lotti. 321 just wondering how your feeling today. I'm much the same.. Going to ring doc to see should I start taking my rescue pack of antibiotics (I was given them to take with me to Spain but didn't need them) I fear It might go to my chest as I have a bit of a cough this morn.. Hope your feeling a bit better.. X

I’m feeling much the same 😔 my voice & cold symptoms are a lot better. My voice is coming back yey! My cough is getting deeper in my large airways. I nipped to the drs and they have issued me with a delayed prescription for some antibiotics as got a temperature but my chest is currently clear- oh how many times I’ve heard that!
