Just a quick note that if you have old inhalers that you have stopped using because you are on new or different ones you can get them recycled.

Boots and Morrison will recycle your inhalers. So much better that having incinerated and better for the environment.

Your welcome. This top tip came from one of my Gps. I asked him what I could do with the bag of inhalers I had and he came up with above information.

Thanks for the information. I use inhaler twice a day, so have one empty one each month. Always feel really bad just throwing them away.

I wonder if it's worth getting GPs to put signs up in waiting rooms with this information.

Also at Tesco and Asda if they have an in house chemist yet not at independent chemists

If only was the same with empty Nebulisers those of us that use a Nebuliser get through quite a few

Elanaoali, can I just confirm, will Boots and Morrisons take all type of inhalers, including accuhalers?

I always understood you were supposed to take unused, part used or empty medicine containers back to the chemist for disposal.
