Different inhaler

Hi ive now been taken off seretide 250 1puff twice a day and put on fostair with a spacer 2 puffs twice a day. Is there a big difference between the 2 inhalers or is it a case of what suits the person .

I had the opposite!! Was on fostair, went on seretide.. Who knows..

I've heard the particles are much smaller in fostair so get into your lungs better

I was changed to fostair in spring and have been fine. Hope it works well for you

I was changed to fostair too (it's cheaper) and it didn't agree with me at all. I got the shakes massively on it. I asked to switch back and GP was fine with it.

While it's true the particles in Fostair are finer, that's only in relation to the particles in Clenil.

The dose you're on is equivalent to the dose of Seretide you were on before pretty much..see how it goes.
