I'm seeing some in random posts too

Hello Lejaya,

I have passed this onto the Asthma UK team/webeditor as email addresses should not be visible. Please let webeditor@asthma.org.uk know with a screengrab of the page if possible. It should be sorted soon.

Edit to add: I managed to remove your email from the topic description line on a post I spotted. Please let us know if you see any more

thanks TJ

I think this was caused by your web browser's auto-complete function getting confused and thinking that an email address needed to be inserted into the ""description"" box when you started your thread.

The easiest solution (and this applies to all forum members) is to check that the ""Description"" box (the one below the ""Subject"" box on the ""post new topic"" screen) is empty - or contains text that you want displayed! - before you submit your post.

could one of the lovely moderators please remove my email address again?

thanks

As Steve says, please check before posting. Also, try to get a screenshot if you can and email webeditor@asthma.org.uk with the details.

Edit: Lejaya, have removed your email from the description line of Another non listening doctor

I find email addresses (mine and others) appear while I'm writing a reply/comment.if I write a comment, before I click 'post', you can scroll down to previous comments and email addresses instead of usernames appear, not every time though.

Sorry technophobe here, how do you sceengrab?

Depends on your computer, if windows should have a screenprint button above the numbers block to the upper right side of the keyboard. On a Mac, it's command/⌘, shift and 3 or 4

See here for more details take-a-screenshot.org or en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scree...

thank you! and i will try doing a screen grab

Thank you, I'll do this next time I'm on the pc
