I am registered as clinically extremely vulnerable (no NHS letter). When I registered I used my mobile number and the same email address I have used for 30 years or so. The same email address is known to ASDA who provide my delivery slots. That email address is threaded through the whole of my online life.
All good, I thought. Then I received notification from names.co.uk that the demon.co.uk subdomain and my email address are being withdrawn on 29 May 2020 because they have been unable to make an agreement with Vodafone for its continuing use.
I now have a domain of my own and names.co.uk will move my existing services to that. However, I am concerned that I will be dropped from the priority list sent to stores!
I have sent a message to the gov.uk website asking for advice.
Anybody else in the same boat?

It appears that Vodafone who control demon.co.uk won't allow that option.
This from a message from Railway Lion to Vodafone UK on Facebook:
"Congratulations Vodafone on using this period of international disruption to announce that, from June, you are no longer prepared to license demon.co.uk sub-domains to 3rd party service providers. At a stroke, you will be destroying the email identities of hapless ex-Demon customers".
Normally any account in your name will allow you to update your personal details. If you go to the ASDA website, sign in to your account and then check the menu on your account and you should be able to update your email address with the new one. I would imagine that your vulnerable status will not change as long as your name and delivery address remain the same.
I'm afraid GOV.UK are not able to advise, we're a general information site. You will need to contact your local health board regarding the letter.
I would suggest you re register on the service with an alternative address and also update the supermarkets to the new address also.

Also received an SMS from GOVUK which includes the following:

If you have not received a letter from the NHS or been in contact with your GP or hospital clinician, you should contact them to confirm whether you are considered clinically extremely vulnerable. If you meet the clinical criteria your GP or clinician will be able to request that you be included.
If you need urgent support such as food or care, please contact your local council.

This suggests that I have been removed from the register.
My ASDA account shows a Priority Pass which expires on 4 Oct 2020. There's Terms & Conditions button next to it but when you click it nothing useful is displayed. I have an order booked for next Thursday which was booked as a recurring weekly slot. So long as I don't loose that I should be fine …
