I have dry mouth a lot to as I'm on a fair few meds besides the asthma stuff. My mouth is so dry I have difficulty chewing and swallowing my food. I like you I can drink enough fluids to sink a cruiser liner and my mouth still feels dry. I got artificial saliva spray from the pharmacy, the one I'm using is called Glandosane but there are others, it does work and it feels more like actual saliva. Unfortunately you'll have to buy it as it's not available on an NHS prescription for most people, you can only get it prescribed on the NHS for dry mouth caused by radiotherapy or by sicca (sjogren's) syndrome.

Nimueh.Thankyou for the tip .will get some.Love Glynis x

Last year I had a tooth out and the dentist told me to rinse with salt water - I noticed it made me salivate immediately.

Rinse your mouth. Out immediately after taking spiriva Glynis. I would also recommend this after taking a steriod inhaler.
