shedding skin

Hi all

Was just woundering if anyone has experinced shedding of skin on there hands and if so is this a side effect of steriods.

William has been on steriods again recently and his steriod inhaler has also changed to Flixotide, and yesterday i noticed that the skin on his finger tips and palms has started peeling. Today he is complaing that his fingers are sore so just wanted to know if anyone eles had anything like this happen to them.
