My mains op neb came from boots, didnt have to pay vat cos my doc wrote letter. I dont use it lots, only in emergencies. It cost 120 about 3 years ago. Its a respironics & always been very reliable. Ive recently got one of the little battry op ones. Its an omron microair u22 and works on 2AA battries. Its compact & quiet. Ideal for fitting in pocket & reassuring to have when driving along a roads etc. For me, the omron has the edge, but only cos so much easier to use anywhere. Dont know if it is any better or worse compared to mains one though. I should think the nebs at surgery & hosp must be the best as they mix 02 with nebules as opposed to just using air compressor.
