another chest infection !!

hi recently been hospital, well twice in th last 3 weeks casue of colds and chest infections. I've got another chest infection but what do i do i cant afford to go back into hospital (i'm at 6th form) and way behind. I am already on 20mg pred for 2 weeks and a stronger seteide inhaler .... peak flows are dropping and i feel crap do i go to the doctors or what >???Katie xxxx

Sorry you are feeling so poorly at such an important time of school. go to the doctor. He could always give you something to help like antibiotics and may increase pred for a while. He won't necessarily send you in but even if he does it is better to be safe than sorry.
