Does your doctor mean the Butejko method or something else?

ihav no idea

I got a DS Yoga game because Yoga was recommended to help my breathing. It times how long it takes to breathe in and out which I've found useful as apparently I hold by breath or don't breathe deeply enough.

I was told that breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth was good for asthmatic as it helps expand your lungs. I find that breathing like that during an attack helps as it slows down my breathing and helps me not panick as much. I also use this excercise when moving around. Ask to see a physio they can teach you what to do as mouth brething can make asthma symptoms worse. Physios helped me immensley in dealing with breathlessness. Hope this helps.

Sadwheezer.

seen a physio and all in control!!

thanx 4 help!
