Methypred IV

Hi

Does anyone have IV methypred regularly??

When I'm admitted- frequently- I have 3 days of IV methypred and feel better my consultant is thinking of giving it me every 3 weeks or so to prevent severe attacks. I just wondered if anyone else found it helps.

I'm hopeing it will help reduce my oral pred dose of 60mg.

I have been having it with my chemo every 3 weeks for nearly a year, and whilst I still get daily problems, I have had no hospital admissions since I have started it. Just 2 more chemos to go and then no more IV methly pred so shall see what happens!
