To paraphrase the young boy in the Andrex ads (I think).

Anyone else enduring the cold nights? It's been down to 3c at night here and sleep is difficult. Extra Ventolin all round!

Keep warm!

i don't mind how cold it gets, two duvets on the bed at moment, few blankets and shared bodily warmth as in basic first aid survival training, bring it on. only notice when getting up just how ccoococooold it is.

might try using laptop under the duvet, extra heat welcome, and then no need to get up. going to hibernate, see everyone in the spring. LOL

hate the could as it sets off my OA and asthma, but doing every thing I can to stay warm at home and lots of layers on at work.

my cat and dog have the best idea, curl up and go to sleep xxxx

Laptops *are* a very useful source of heat on cold days. If you're using one and you're cold, try putting it directly on your lap!

I'm doing just that laptop on lap keeping me warm, saves on having to put the heating on lol!

Ice weather we're having

Fortunately, not allergic to cats. One coories in under the covers and sleeps by my feet. The other longer and bigger cat stretches out on the duvet alongside me. Laptop on knees. Warrrrmmm.

Only downside is the bigger cat accidentally digging his claws into me as he stretches - a pillow between us is best solution. Hope everyone keep warm - warmer today at 2 degrees C, than yesterday when we were still sliding around, scraping ice off the windscreen at lunchtime.

Really cold today and not been able to get warm.

Central heating on and got extra layers on and lots of hot drinks and pc on my knees and freezing cold,be glad get under the duvet and snuggle up xxx

just back from my run, phew, glad it warmed up. reached conclusion that laptops are not environmentally friendly,

1- use desktop computer with 800watt power supply generates lots of heat, saves heating bill

2-desktop acts as dehumidifier as well (not good for me)

3-all the fans great for air circulation

4-still does job of laptop
