Had a tkr 3 years ago which was a great success initially but gradually it’s becoming more painful ( definitely not the new joint itself) but sharp tingly pains, tenderness and a burning sensation shooting across the centre of the knee.Has anyone had nerve problems like this ?

Thanks !

There could be many reasons but I recommend seeing a pain medicine physician or a physiatrist. They specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation and check nerve-related causes. They can run tests and suggest treatments. They are also trained in diagnosing and treating various types of pain, including post-surgical and nerve-related pain. But sometimes it possible for to it to change with even more time and settle down on its own.
