Good morning I've been suffering from chronic low back pain for years now had a x-ray on my back and got this back all my doctor says is old age lol constantly getting slipped disc's also got cervical spondylosis arthritis in every joint and lumbago with sciatica thanks 👍

You may want to ask for inflammatory markers to be done, and take a look at ankylosing spondylitis. I see you have ulcerative colitis as well, which is often associated with AS. The main symptom that distinguishes it, is damage or fusion to the sacroiliac joint. Even if inflammatory markers are normal you can have AS, but it adds weight to your case if they’re raised. Here’s a guideline which helps you see if you meet criteria for referal.

changing to a memory foam mattress was a game changer for me…..

That is interesting - and reassuring to hear.

My husband has a degenerative spine condition/cervical stenosis and is in a lot of pain. Tbh we have put some of it down to our old bed, but we are waiting for the new bed to arrive in 10 days, which is memory foam.

We’re hoping it will make a huge difference 🤞
