Hi all, I was diagnosed with stage 4 arthritis in right knee after second arthroscopy in September 2018. I also have stage 3 in left. Now in late 50s but told too young for FKR. Not keen on having one to be fair. Have high BP, which went through the roof last op. What I find now after bad days of walking, its affecting my right hip and left foot. Anyone else falling apart 😆

Yep had my left knee replaced in 2004, left hip 2008, right hip 2009, right ankle fused 2012, left ankle fused 2013 and right knee replaced 2014. I was 37 years old in 2004, 41 in ‘08…so I’d say you aren’t too young for a TKA…they suck I mean really bad especially compared to the hips…just IMHO…I wish you the best!

You poor thing. I have had Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) injections in my knee, which seems to work for me.

sadly it’s a chain reaction… one bad knee eventually ruins the whole leg. I would opt for TKR .
