Hello,
I have been suffering with back pain of a morning since I was a teenager. Back then it would come and go. It would only show up of a morning. However, the last 3 years, it's gotten increasingly worse. It happens every single morning now. It wakes me up at silly o'clock and does not allow me to go back asleep. I used to be able to tuck my knees up into my chest and that would give me some relief, enough for me to get another hours sleep but I've had hip replacements so I can't tuck my legs up as much anymore.
I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my lower lumbar spine.
The pain is something I struggle to explain. It feels like a lot of uncomfortable pressure in my lower back and can go all the way round the front of my body. So it kinda feels like my organs are in pain aswell...if that makes sense. I find even breathing painful for the first 30 minutes of waking up. Getting out of bed does ease it but as you can imagine, getting woke up at 4am to 5am and having to get out of bed is just so awful as I'm now fully awake.
I'm just wondering if anyone experiences the same pain as I do? And how do you get some relief?
More recently it takes a lot longer for the pain to ease...its just progressively getting worse. I get back pain all the time now but 1000% worse in the mornings.
Thanks!!
