I have a ganglion in the palm of my right hand about an inch below my middle finger. I remember hurting my hand playing golf a couple of years ago when i think i was gripping the club too tightly after having a layoff from other arthritis related issues, namely knee and lower back!
I only get trouble from the ganglion if i forget about it and grasp something tightly right on its point. Other than that i have a general feeling of tingliness and tightness in a morning around the hand and wrist area.
As im considering going back playing golf i wondered if anyone else had had this problem and how to resolve it or get round it?
Thanks for any replies!

I got rid of a ganglion on my wrist by hitting it with a small hammer. I am sure you are not supposed to do that as you may break a bone!! Apparently my grandmother used to do the same thing. The old wives’ tale was to hit it with the family bible.
Piglet is right, but may be painful. I had a ganglion syringed by a Dr a few years back, never seen again since. He sucked the fluid out with a large needle. No pain killers of skin numbing. If you can't get a Dr to do it, maybe you can get a syringe from a chemist.
im not sure if I would try any home remedies as you could injure yourself or cause an infection.
I had a ganglion removed from my wrist years ago by a surgeon it was causing pain and restricting movement. It was done under local but also had something to relax me so i didn’t remember a thing. I was told it could grow back, it never has thankfully .
When the ganglion is painful or effecting your everyday life then i think something needs to be done, best wishes.
